Birds

Last time I kinda had a breakdown.. Sorry about that. Alicia saw me crying and gave me a hug. I think I really needed that. I'm okay now. So I'll just forget last post happened and start the next one.

We've arrived in the general area where the nest is supposed to be. The document Scribe Delta gave us didn't point to a specific address. So we'll have to look around for them.

Last night, as we were driving, I asked Alicia what the plan is.

“We scout around for a few days. First we need to make sure our target is actually here. We should also get a bit familiar with the area. We'll figure out the rest once we find the nest. Hopefully they haven't been alerted yet. Also watch out for birds that act strangely.”

“Birds?”

“Birds. You'll understand when you see them.”

“Okay, I guess.” I’m not sure what she meant. I know Nests worship bird gods. Do they maybe have some sort of drones disguised as birds? Why wouldn't Alicia just tell me that instead of being so mysterious about it?

I also asked her about those “Fears” that came up in our conversation with Scribe Delta. Apparently it's a name used to describe all the various cult gods as a group. The way she talks about them makes it seem like they're real though. Does Alicia believe in them as well? Would that mean she's also in a cult? Is that why she's being so vague when talking about these things?

Should I still trust Alicia?

  1. Oh you don't... You don't know they're real? That's... Oh this is going to be interesting. Also you should probably make sure you have some fire based weaponry, like a flamethrower or something... I'm sure Alicia already thought of that though.

    1. You're one of the cultists so obviously you're going to say they're real. You can't expect me to believe something so absurd. I sure hope Alicia does not have a flamethrower.. That would be disturbing.
