KRAKEN

Sorry for the cliffhanger on my last post. My battery was dying while I was writing it and I panicked. I'll just continue from where I left off.

The other Librarian had just stormed into the room and said KRAKEN was trying to break in. Which was confusing because I'm pretty sure the front door was open when we walked in earlier. So I wondered why they didn't just walk in.

Turns out the Librarian had looked out the window and saw five people with weapons come out of a van. So she pushed the emergency button which automatically closed and locked the door. The loud sound we heard was them trying to smash the door in.

Scribe Delta quickly got of their seat and grabbed a file. They then pushed that file into my hands. “There's a back door, go through there to escape. That file has all the information you'll need on your target. We'll deal with KRAKEN. Go!”

“O-oh, okay.” Before I could react I felt Alicia grab my arm. Then I'm suddenly being pulled along as she runs towards the back of the library.

Behind us I could hear Scribe Delta shout. “Oh and please don't post anything from that file on your blog! You don't want to warn your target you're coming for them!”

I tried to respond but Alicia pulled me through the exit door and closed it behind me. “Where do we go?”

“The car.” Alicia said as she looked around to see if any of them were coming for us.

“But the car's across the street from the Library they'll see us.”

“If we're fast enough we'll be gone by the time they notice us.”

When the coast seemed clear she started running. I barely managed to keep up with her. We managed to get back to Alicia's car safely but that's when one of the KRAKEN guys saw us. He shouted to alert the others who were already inside the Library. He then started running towards us.

Alicia unlocked the car and told me to get in. So I ran around to the passenger side and jumped inside. When I looked outside the KRAKEN guy had reached the car already.

Alicia was still outside as well. I was about to yell at her to get in but she just socked the guy in the face and he went down. Then she got in the car.

Two more of his buddies were running towards our car. Only for one of them to get hit by a car. The car stopped and I heard the driver yell some obscenities. I'm not sure what happened after that because Alicia was already driving away.

I know the Archive is another evil cult but I'm kinda worried for Scribe Delta and the other Librarian. I think Linda was her name? They at least don't seem as bad as KRAKEN. I'm glad we made it out of there safely though. If Alicia hadn't been there.. I'd rather not think about that.

    Ha ha should have looked both ways... That's all these KRAKEN guys are good for... Blundering into stuff. Also hey Evil cults aren't so bad... I'm the head of an evil cult myself and they're pretty cool guys. Huh actually... I wonder how they're doing.

      You're also from an evil cult? That explains your last comment. "Evil cults aren't so bad" do you even read your own comments? They have evil in their name. How are they possibly not "so bad"?

      Evil is arguably not the same as bad. They can be very competent and awesome, just not morally good.

The nest was still tied up and looking up at Scribe Delta. “So it is you. Wait, Sam, you're not with KRAKEN are you?” “No, old friend I'm not and my sources say that you aren't either anymore.” The nest let out a sigh of relief. “Thank fuck. There's still a chance for her to get out of this life. I promised I would try to give her that chance. The only way that's happening is by saving her mother. Otherwise her father will remain in prison for a murder that didn't happen.
