This is it

We've made any preparations we could. Scraped together some improvised weapons made from whatever we could find. A glass shard made into a knife by taping it on a stick. Three Molotov cocktails and a metal pipe Hella took from one of the dead KRAKEN guys.

The Molotov cocktails are mostly for any nests we might see. If there still are any nests left in KRAKEN. Hopefully the Convocation has murdered all of them for their betrayal. If that's what you wanna call it.

By the time this post has gone up we'll have already made our move. KRAKEN probably already knows we're coming. Still it wouldn't be smart to just announce our attack right before we do it. So I'll set this post to be published in about an hour from now.

We've got a sort of plan. We don't really know much about this base since our scouting attempt went horrible. So making a very detailed plan isn't possible. We'll just hope all the KRAKEN guys Hella killed on the street dwindled their numbers down enough. If there's too many of them left we'll just get overwhelmed no matter what we do. Even with Hella being on our team. Which I'm not even sure she is.

Alicia pulled me aside just before we left. “Hey, I just want you to know that whatever happens, you did whatever you could.”

“Yeah, those aren't very comforting words to be honest.”

She laughed and then coughed. There was some blood. “Sorry about that. Maybe this will be more comforting.” She then handed one of her gloves to me.

“Put that on before we go, okay?”

I nodded. “Thank you.”

“Alright, we leave in half an hour. Make sure you're ready.”

“I will be.”

She then walked away and left me to write this post.

This is our last chance. If we fail now there's only death waiting for us.
Mom, I'm coming to save you. This time for real. If you read this at any point, I love you. Dad, I love you too.

Everyone else, thanks for your comments. Yes, even you Faceless.
To all of you, don't wish us luck unless you mean it. Not that it'll matter, when you read this it'll probably be over already, one way or another.

Alright, that's it. Time to get going.
